Happy weekend, lovers! If playing in the snow isn’t the only activity on your agenda for the next three days, here are some further diversions.

Friday
That hilariously quirky Claire Zulkey of WBEZ hosts her event ‘Funny Ha Ha’ at The Hideout starting at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $5 at the door.
“It’s Not Me It’s You” exhibit at Heaven Gallery in Wicker Park explores romance in art, presenting collaborations by 11 pairs of talented art makers. Admission is free; gallery is open from 7 to 11 p.m.

Saturday
Nosh on all-you-can-eat chili at the Hashbrown Chili Cook-off at the Spudnik Press Coop. $10 gets you five tickets and $25 gets you a VIP package (five large chili portions, a golden spoon and a complimentary signature cocktail). Event is from 6 – 10 p.m.
Silvie’s Lounge hosts Chicago Ukulele Cabaret, an open mic-style event for ukulele players. Tonight’s theme is “Sorry I Forgot About Valentine’s Day.” Admission is free, and the show begins at 8 p.m.

Spots to watch the Oscars
Revolution Brewing and Piece Pizza will have it on their TVs, or if you’re feeling really swanky, The Gene Siskel Film Center is hosting “Oscar Experience: Chicago,” the only Academy-sanctioned Oscar party in the city, from from 6 p.m. to midnight. Cocktail attire is required; tickets start at $100 for general admission.
